About Me

I was raised in Venezuela and received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela). In 2003, I moved to the United States, and received my Specialist in School Psychology degree from Barry University. I completed my internship at Miami-Dade County Public Schools. This experience in the public schools allowed me to better understand the school system. After working several years in private practice, I completed my Ph.D. in Education and Leadership at Barry University. As part of my doctoral work, I earned a specialty minor in Special Education.

Throughout my training and career, my work has focused on comprehensive cognitive, educational, and psychological assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. I can provide services in both English and Spanish. My areas of expertise include psychoeducational testing for learning and behavior disorders, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorders.

Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
